Method
Use of Authentic Materials
Real texts, videos, songs and conversations are used to expose students to "real" English.
Simulations and Role-Playing
Students practice the language in specific contexts, such as ordering in a restaurant, having a job interview or asking for directions.
Student-Centered Lesson
The teacher acts more as a facilitator than an authoritative figure. Lessons are interactive and involve conversations, role-playing and discussions.
Focus on fluency, not just correctness
Rather than correcting every mistake, the teacher encourages natural use of the language. Grammar is learned inductively, through practical use.
Learning through communication
The main goal is to develop the ability to express yourself and understand English in real situations. Students are encouraged to speak from the beginning, without fear of making mistakes.
Integration of four language skills
Speaking: dialogues, presentations, discussions. Listening: listening to real or recorded conversations. Reading: authentic texts, articles, stories. Writing: emails, letters, short stories.
